Cursor Ships an Agent SDK as Coding Agents Become a Platform Play

Cursor released an SDK for building and deploying code agents, moving from editor to agent platform in the same week GitHub shipped Fusion.

Cursor launched an Agent SDK for building and deploying code agents, according to @AINativeF. The release signals Cursor's ambition to be more than an AI-assisted editor — it wants to be the platform on which developers build their own autonomous coding agents. That is a different and larger market than selling a better place to write code.
