Sentient OS Puts a Local LLM Between You and the Cloud

A new on-device system claims to learn your life overnight using a local model, with a 'Sidekick' feature to hand off whatever is on your screen.

Sentient has launched Sentient OS, an on-device AI built around a local LLM that, per @ISanjayD, is designed to understand a user's life overnight and automate tasks against that personal context. A feature called Sidekick lets users hand off whatever is currently on screen for the agent to act on.
