The funding flowing into AI is increasingly targeting the layers around frontier models rather than the models themselves. As @venturesintern rounded up, the week's rounds included Profound's $180M Series D, roughly $200M for enterprise-agent company Factory, and a Series A north of €200M for EUCLYD, alongside a set of OpenAI Foundation grants directed at health data.
