Microsoft Entra now inspects Model Context Protocol traffic — an acknowledgment that agents talking to tools is the new attack surface enterprises have to police.

As agents gain the ability to call tools autonomously, the connective tissue between them has become something worth firewalling. @marcopapa99 reported that Microsoft Entra "adds an MCP Firewall for agent traffic" — a control layer that sits between agents and the Model Context Protocol services they invoke.
