Suno Breach Exposes Scraped Training Data From YouTube, Genius and Deezer — Plus Customer Records

A hacker who breached the AI music platform Suno reportedly found evidence of scraping from major content sites and gained access to hundreds of thousands of customer records, offering a rare look inside the data pipeline of a generative music company.

A hacker breached AI music generation platform Suno and, according to a report surfaced by @TheMG3D and originally attributed to 404 Media, uncovered two things that generative AI companies generally prefer to keep hidden. The first is where the training data came from. The second is how much customer data was sitting exposed.
