An engineer with firsthand experience of OpenAI's security posture says he believes multiple frontier labs have embedded human intelligence sources — and that "no one would dispute" it.

The most unsettling data point of the week came from @willdepue, who shared that after extensive conversations with security researchers — and based on his own firsthand experience with OpenAI's security posture — he believes reports of human intelligence assets inside major AI labs are credible. "I don't think anyone would dispute there being a handful of human intelligence sources per lab," he wrote.
