Brilliant Launches Koji, an AI Tutor Designed to Make Kids Do the Hard Part

Education platform Brilliant shipped Koji, an AI tutor that reportedly avoids the trap of giving kids answers and instead forces them through the reasoning process.

@ArkStabler highlighted Brilliant's launch of Koji, an AI tutor for kids that, in their words, "does the thing we need kids using AI for: not skipping the hard part." The design philosophy is a direct response to the central anxiety around AI in education — that students will use it to bypass learning rather than deepen it.
