OpenAI's 'Futures Class' Spotlights What Happens When AI Natives Graduate

OpenAI named 26 graduating students who used ChatGPT to map space objects, detect disaster survivors, and preserve endangered languages — the first class that had AI tools for their entire college career.

OpenAI announced the "ChatGPT Futures Class of 2026" — 26 graduating students recognized for using AI to accomplish things that would have been difficult or impossible with traditional tools alone. The highlighted projects range from mapping 1.5 million previously unknown objects in space to detecting disaster survivors and preserving endangered languages.
