Mistral Launches Remote Agents With 'Work Mode' for Multi-Step Tasks

Mistral Vibe and Medium 3.5 now support cloud-based agents that can execute multi-step workflows from the CLI or Le Chat interface.

Mistral shipped remote agent capabilities in its Vibe product alongside the Medium 3.5 model release, as @mistralvibe announced. The new "Work mode" lets agents execute multi-step tasks in the cloud rather than requiring local compute — a design choice that puts Mistral's agent offering closer to OpenAI's and Anthropic's cloud-first approaches.
