Google Embeds Reusable AI 'Skills' Directly Into Chrome

Google is shipping a new feature called Skills in Chrome that lets users save and trigger Gemini-powered workflows with one click — turning the browser itself into an AI automation surface.

Google announced Skills in Chrome, a feature that lets users build reusable, one-click AI workflows powered by Gemini directly inside the browser, as shared by @Google. The feature allows users to save frequently used prompts — modifying recipes, scanning documents, summarizing pages — and trigger them across any tab.
