Gemini API Gets Built-In Tools and Google Maps Grounding for Agentic Workflows

Google shipped a set of Gemini API updates focused on agentic use cases. As @OfficialLoganK detailed, built-in tools now work alongside function calling, and grounding with Google Maps is available natively with Gemini 3. Context caching improvements also reduce redundant compute for multi-turn agent workflows.
