Yann LeCun, who stepped down as Meta's Chief AI Scientist, has unveiled Advanced Machine Intelligence (AMI Labs) with a $1.03 billion seed round — 890 million euros — making it the largest seed funding round in European history. The startup is focused on building world models using LeCun's Joint Embedding Predictive Architecture (JEPA), as @ylecun announced.
