A cluster of crypto-AI projects — Virtual Protocol, Venice AI, Action Model, FNDRY — are pitching tokenized agent ecosystems where users earn for interacting with AI. Two million users in, the economics are still murky.
Several crypto-native AI projects made noise this week. @crystalfoxeth flagged that Virtual Protocol's $VIRTUAL token may be distributing rewards to users who have chatted with AI agents on Twitter. Venice AI reportedly hit two million users, as @crystalfoxeth noted, with its $VVV token tied to inference access and holder benefits. @ActionModelAI pitched a model where the 'ecosystem rewards you' rather than extracting value. And @getfndry cited a $52 billion market projection for AI agents by 2030.
