Modular Acquires BentoML, Consolidating the AI Deployment Stack

Modular, the company behind the Mojo programming language and MAX inference engine, has acquired open-source AI deployment platform BentoML, creating an end-to-end stack from hardware optimization to model serving.

Modular announced the acquisition of BentoML, the open-source platform used by Fortune 500 companies for deploying AI models in production. As @Modular described it, the deal pairs BentoML's deployment and serving layer with Modular's MAX inference engine and Mojo language for hardware optimization.
