Cerebras Closes $1 Billion Series H at $23 Billion Valuation

AI chip maker Cerebras Systems closed a $1 billion funding round, valuing the NVIDIA competitor at $23 billion as demand for alternative AI accelerators intensifies.

As @cerebras announced, the company has closed a $1 billion Series H at an approximately $23 billion post-money valuation. The round comes as chip demand from AI training and inference workloads continues to outstrip supply, creating openings for alternatives to NVIDIA's dominant GPU ecosystem. Separately, AMD CEO Lisa Su confirmed that the company's MI500 AI chip remains on track for a 2027 launch, as @StockMKTNewz reported. The AI chip market is entering a multi-vendor phase — NVIDIA still dominates, but the capital flowing to Cerebras and AMD's accelerated roadmap suggest customers are actively seeking alternatives.
